TOTS Carlos Vela Review!

Here He Is!

After much mixing and matching on Futhead to try and fit Vela into a hybrid, I finally gave in and brought him for 85k in the 4321 formation in the RF position. Having loved him in FUT12 I was desperate to try him out!

Pace: With 89 pace you would expect Vela to be very quick, but unexpectedly I found him very sluggish, very slow to accelerate and then reaching his fastest was still being outrun by left backs. Not what it lived up to be. 4/10

Shooting: 1 of the only stats that seems reasonably close to how he performs in game. Both his finesse shots and chip shots are very overpowered and I scored a fair few with him. Another benefit is that he always seems to be in the right place at the right time. 10/10

Passing: During the time I had Vela, I only seemed to see Vela play little inside passes and look for a quick return but his short passing is very good for what it has to do. 7.5/10

Dribbling: The biggest lie on his card. 88 dribbling! A total joke! Felt more like 20. Often tackled by opponents and never beat anybody. A generous 1/10

Defending and Heading: Didn’t do much of this stuck out wide. Unmark-able.

Overall 5.5/10 Very Overrated. Would give a miss.
